Shipping policy

We do our best to package your order securely so it is not damaged during transit, however sometimes due to poor handling from the postage service the candles will break, please contact us if this happens.

Shipping within Australia standard 2-13 business days (excluding express postage)

Express postage Australia - 1 to 5 Business days

Due to customs rules and tariffs we no longer ship to some parts of Europe.

USA: 15 to 20 days business days

NZ: 15 to 30 days business days
Canada: 15 to 30 days business days

Japan: 15 to 30 days business days
China:15 to 30 days business days


If you need it faster please purchase express postage.

Candles take 1 to 5 business days to make. All candles are made to order.

Please note any candles that look like "Food" cannot be shipped to the UK. If you make a purchase of these type candles to be shipped to the UK your order for these items will be refunded. This is due to the laws in the UK.

Shipping fees are non-refundable

PLEASE NOTE: 

  • The time frames above are estimates only. Sometimes there can be unexpected delays. 

  • We post orders on business days, which are Monday to Friday and exclude public holidays in Victoria, Australia. 

  • Please allow extra time to process after busy sale periods.

  • We will do our best to ensure orders are packaged so they don't break. Please keep in mind since we use Soy wax, it can take 2 weeks for this wax type to fully harden, when your candle is shipped it will still be soft and there is a possibility of breaking. we offer full refund if your candle arrives broken.

  • Delivery time frames for International orders are also dependent on how long the parcel takes to clear in customs. This is out of our control.

  • If you have not received your Items within the suggested time frames, please email us your full name and order number and we will investigate on your behalf. We do not offer refunds or compensation for orders received outside these times.

  • Delays are rare, but can happen unexpectedly.

  • We will do our best to fix any issues that may arise in regards to your order being delivered.

Once your order is packed and leaves our facility, you will receive an email with your tracking information. You can use this information to track your order via the Australia Post, Aramex or DHL websites found below:

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOM FEES & TAXES

Buyers are responsible for paying any customs duties, import duties, or other charges (collectively “Charges”) imposed by their country's government, payable on delivery. Items that arrive late or are not received due to buyer delay or refusal to pay Charges owed upon delivery, do not qualify under our refund policy


All taxes and customs charges will be your responsibility and are not included in the cost of the order or shipping charge. Taxes and customs charges vary depending on the Country and State of your shipping address. We suggest contacting your local customs office if you are unsure of the applicable taxes and customs fees that may be relevant to you. La Jolie Candle Boutique is not responsible for any additional taxes and customs charges that are requested or charged during the shipment of your order.
